Membership Information

The Alliance works through its membership who is mostly civil society that is passionate to improve livelihoods of smallholder farmers in the country in a bid to end hunger and malnutrition. Ultimately however, the direct beneficiary of its services is the typical Uganda who is challenged to guarantee the right to food.

Membership to FRA is open to four individuals as honorary members and any other body corporate which supports and promotes food as a right, subject to the FRA Article and Memorandum of Association. Membership is categorized into;

  1. Honorary
  2. Non-Governmental Organizations
  3. Community Based Organizations
  4. Faith Based Organizations

Membership requirements and procedures

Fill and submit a copy your application, constitution, certificate of incorporation and a strategic plan which will be reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors after which you will be required to fulfil the membership obligations and then declared a member in the Annual General Meeting held every year in July.
