Agnes is currently finalizing her Master Degree in Human Rights at Makerere University. She holds a Bachelors degree in Adult and Community Education and a Diploma in music Dance and Drama.
Agnes carries with her 13 years of applied community based development work, situation analysis, training, monitoring and documentation of community and programme experiences and performances in areas related to food security and livelihoods.
She has 10 years of planning and managing media campaigns on contentious issues affecting marginalized communities especially smallholder farmers, 9 years of applied research, advocacy and analysis of public policy on agriculture , food and nutrition and related policies .
She also has 9 years of managing campaigns and events that aim at raising people’s voices and provision of a plat form for the people’s participation in policy processes, 12 years of participation in mobilizing and coordinating civil society campaigns on the farmer’s rights , agriculture, food and nutrition, and 7 years of corporate governance- chairing national network Boards, serving on Executive committees and advisory Boards in the Civil Society.
Agnes has also participated in several conferences on trade, food and development at national, regional, continental and international levels.
