Target Focused Initiatives

Driving impact through tailored, strategic interventions.

At Food Rights Alliance (FRA), we recognize that transforming Uganda’s food systems requires targeted approaches that respond to the unique needs of communities, regions, and stakeholder groups.
Our Target Focused Initiatives (TFIs) are specially designed programs that channel resources, expertise, and advocacy toward specific populations, thematic areas, and emerging food system challenges.

What Are Target Focused Initiatives?

Target Focused Initiatives are special program streams that FRA develops to address:

✔️ Urgent food system vulnerabilities

✔️ Specific demographic groups (women, youth, pastoralists, smallholder farmers)

✔️ Regional food security gaps

✔️ Emerging threats such as climate shocks, food price volatility, or governance failures.

These initiatives complement FRA’s core programs and help us respond quickly, strategically, and effectively
