- Champion of food as a human right and governance issue in Uganda and the EAC region
- Championed campaigns including aflatoxin management and control, seed systems, inclusive extension, and natural resource rights
- Advocated for policy reforms in agricultural extension
- Supported local legislation by helping Amuria and Ngora District Local Governments develop ordinances and include citizens in policy decisions
- Mobilized and organized communities to advance their interests, such as women in fish, coffee, and dairy sectors, and youth employment in agriculture
- Coordinated non-state actors (NSAs) to engage in food-related issues, including the NSA Working Group, East Africa People’s Budget Summit, and AWARFA-AU IBAR
- Conceptualized and innovated socio-economic transformative models, such as the Farm Planning Model
