WE CAN'T END HUNGER ALONE

Drawing from more than 2 decades of experience on the frontlines of the fight against hunger, we partner with country governments, humanitarian organizations, and other champions to promote evidence-based policies to effectively tackle hunger and its underlying causes.

Advocacy

We fight to ensure that our high-impact interventions have predictable, adequate, and sustained funding at both the global and country levels. We also mobilize the public to understand the extent of hunger today and the promising solutions that provide hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Through collective and bold action, we can prevent malnutrition and help families and children grow up healthy and strong.

Progress against hunger and malnutrition is possible, but it requires a concerted effort by all stakeholders – government, private sector, civil society and humanitarian agencies – to turn the tide. Advocacy for increased resources, improved policies and better accountability is vital to create the change that is needed.

Food Rights Alliance's advocacy priorities for achieving the Right to Food

Food Rights  believes that all people, especially the most vulnerable, have a right to receive food to ensure that malnutrition and hunger do not hinder their education and human capital development. FRA draws on its experience from advocating for policy and practice change in more than 30 districts in Uganda over the past 2 decades that will allow it and other partners to reach over 30 million households living in extreme poverty who are currently not receiving food in htir homes.

We work to influence policies, programmes and budgets that can reduce hunger
